Trezor Hardware Wallet — Quick Start & Setup Guide

Step 1: Unboxing and Connection

Ensure your package is sealed and tamper-free. Connect your Trezor device to your computer using the provided USB cable.

DO NOT connect your device to an untrusted computer.

Step 2: Install Trezor Suite

Navigate to the official Trezor website and download the desktop application called Trezor Suite. Install the application and launch it.

Trezor Suite is the modern interface for managing your wallet.
Always verify the URL before downloading any software.

Step 3: Initial Setup and Recovery Seed

Follow the on-screen prompts in Trezor Suite to initialize your device. This process will include:

Creating a new wallet.
Setting a PIN.
WRITING DOWN YOUR RECOVERY SEED. Store this offline and securely. Never store it digitally.

Your 12/18/24-word recovery seed is the master backup. If you lose your Trezor, this seed is the only way to restore access to your funds.

Login Procedure

To log in, simply launch the Trezor Suite and connect your device. The software will prompt you to enter your PIN, which you do by clicking the numbers on your computer screen based on the random pattern displayed on your physical Trezor device screen.

This is the final secure step to access your assets.
